Join us for an educational workshop where you’ll learn how to safely and mindfully modify any yoga practice for pregnancy and beyond. We’ll explore the unique changes that come along with every trimester and how to gracefully adapt through breath, movement, and connection. You’ll come away from this workshop with a better understanding of the benefits of practicing prenatal yoga and feel well prepared to choose appropriate classes and how to modify a class that is not specifically catered towards pregnancy. Most significantly, you’ll learn how to use yoga as a tool to honor the journey to motherhood. This is for anyone who is pregnant, plans to be pregnant in the future, or yoga teachers wishing to better serve their prenatal students.
This offering is led by Golden Brooke who is a Yoga Alliance ERYT-500 and certified prenatal yoga instructor. She has guided countless pregnant women through their practices over her 8 years as a teacher and also has the firsthand experience of having a dedicated yoga practice through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum herself!
