Laura Stites received her 200RYT at iHeartYoga and is also certified in Trauma Informed Yoga through Be the Change Yoga. She started doing yoga to help improve her body after getting a herniated disc and was surprised that it not only helped with the pain, but her mentality as well toward her injury and herself. She wants to heal others who have experienced injuries, whether it’s emotional, mental, or physical. She has a bachelors degree in theater from the University of California in Irvine and has taught English in both Europe and the U.S. On her off time she loves to travel (everywhere), hike, go to the beach, camp, and write. Her hope is to help others see the benefits of yoga and how it can help people heal their individual needs, and of course have fun while she continues her own practice!
