All Levels Welcome. No Experience or Partner Required. Acroyoga is a playful practice that combines yoga, partner acrobatics and thai massage. It is a partner and group practice that builds strength, flexibility, and self-confidence and encourages trust, communication, and community. Together we will move through the principles of bone stacking and weight transfer while building trust and supporting one another. Come with an openness to play and surprise yourself with what you are truly capable of.
An added bonus of acro is the supportive and playful community that emerges as students push their limits, together as a group, and discover they have the strength to do things they never thought possible.
The class: We will begin with a short discussion and introduction followed by a playful partner warmup. Then, we will move into learning some of the foundational acroyoga poses - taught through progressions. We will end with Thai massage and partner stretching. There will be additional time for taking photos at the end of the workshop!
What to bring: a mat, water, your smiling face and an open mind
What to wear: comfortable clothing that fits well; avoid loose, baggy clothing
